The Navy and Air Force are bringing out their best and brightest for the Point Mugu Air Show at Naval Base Ventura County this weekend.The Navy's Blue Angels are joining the Air Force's Thunderbirds are "co-headliners," the air show said in a statement. "It's extremely rare for them to perform together, but not only will you get to see those acts, you'll get to see various civilian and other military acts that we'll have throughout the show," said Lt. Cmdr. Amanda "Arson" Lowery, co-director of the air show and base operations officer. A man is dead and another is in grave condition after a head-on crash in the Manchester Square area of South Los Angeles early Saturday morning.The crash at West Florence Avenue and South Gramercy Place occurred a few minutes after 1 a.m. when one of two vehicles on Florence crossed the center line and struck a vehicle headed the other way, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information related to the kidnapping of 63-year-old U.S. citizen Maria del Carmen Lopez. Lopez, a dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, was abducted from her residence in Pueblo Nuevo in the Mexican state of Colima on Feb. 9 by several hooded men. The mother of seven and her husband have been living in Mexico for the last 10 years after raising their family in the Los Angeles area. OAKLAND — Two men were shot — one multiple times — Friday night in the Northgate-Waverly area, authorities said.Both men were initially reported to be in stable condition.The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Telegraph Avenue.The two men, one 68-years-old and the other 56, were standing outside when they were approached by another person who pulled a pistol and began shooting at them, police said. ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) – One person is dead and two are critically injured following a traffic collision Friday night, according to the Antioch Police Department. At 10:18 p.m., a call was reported to APD of a traffic collision at Lone Tree Way and State Route 4. Officers arrived on scene and located two vehicles who had been involved in the collision in the eastbound SR-4 off and on ramps and Lone Tree Way, police said. These are the top 10 vehicles targeted for catalytic converter theft, according to Carfax Officers located one deceased male in one of the vehicles. Two of the passengers in that vehicle were transported to a hospital in critical condition, police said. Preliminary information revealed one of the vehicles was traveling south on Lone Tree Way and collided with the other vehicle that was exiting eastbound SR-4 and turning north on Lone Tree Way.
